Come Hang Out With Us: What's Open at Exhibition Place

May 16 2018

With the future weather forecast looking promising and the mercury rising, you will definitely notice more activity here at Exhibition Place. We are busy shedding off the last few remnants of winter to usher in a busy outdoor events season and we invite you to come hang out with us around the grounds.

Open Now

Picnic tables have been set up at Bandshell Park, Centennial Square, the grassy area just west of Enercare Centre, the grassy area west of the Food Building and south of the Horse Palace.

Our grounds crew are busy beautifying Exhibition Place! The grass is lush and green, the planter boxes and shrubs are getting full and the many varieties and hues of flowers add just the right amount of colour we longed for all winter.

The playground equipment in Centennial Square Park is ready to welcome kids and their parents to enjoy this recreational area. The basketball courts right next door are open for pick-up games.

Fill up your water bottle at one of five water bottle fill stations. They are located in the following areas:

  • Ontario Place Walkway, Princes’ Boulevard to the Ontario Place East Bridge
  • North of Bandshell Park just behind the Toronto Events Centre
  • Centennial Square, on the diagonal pathway from Saskatchewan Road to Dufferin Gate
  • On the north side of Enercare Centre (Manitoba Drive) near door #31

The washrooms are open in Enercare Centre from 6am–5:30pm, Monday to Friday. The washrooms in the West Horse Palace will be open daily from 7am–6pm, Monday to Friday. The exterior washrooms are open from Sunday to Saturday from 6am–sundown.

View these locations on the Exhibition Place grounds map.

Coming soon

Open in time for the Victoria Day Long Weekend:

  • The washrooms at Dufferin Street, the South Food Building
  • All of the fountains around the Exhibition Place grounds

As we get closer to the summer and we begin to see more outdoor events at Exhibition Place, don't wait until then to enjoy yourself here. Come hang out, join a tour or two, have a picnic, take a picture with the cherry blossoms while they are still in bloom and build new memories.
