Here's what's new at Exhibition Place this month.

Interim Respite at the Queen Elizabeth Hall
We recently learned that the City of Toronto and the Shelter Support and Housing Administration Division will be using the Queen Elizabeth Hall as an interim respite site while they are constructing the 24-hour respite located at Gore Park. The interim respite in the Queen Elizabeth Hall will be operational from November 13, 2018 to January 31, 2019.
Exhibition Place Staffing Updates
Join us in congratulating ExPlaceTO staff on recent promotions and additions to our team: John Koperwas was promoted to Director, IT/Telecom/Records & Archives; Steve Nushis became the new Director of Accounting; Kristine Kubota joined the Sales and Marketing team as an Account Executive; and Sarah Jones was promoted to Senior Facility Coordinator, Facility Services.
Construction Updates at ExPlaceTO
Please be advised that we are doing some modernization work and upgrades around the grounds. We are upgrading the Centennial Square playground at Dufferin Street and Saskatchewan Road. Construction is well underway and is expected to be completed by December 21, 2018. Modernization work has already begun on elevator #4 located outside Hall C. We anticipate this work to be done by the end of December.
Digital Signage Upgrade for Beanfield Centre
We have upgraded all of the digital screens outside of the the meeting rooms at Beanfield Centre. These 32" Samsung screens will post session information for each of the 20 meeting rooms. Reach out to your Meeting Coordinator from Beanfield Centre for more details.
