Exhibition Place Master Plan Project UPDATE

Thank you to all who attended and gave feedback at our meeting in September on the City's Exhibition Place Master Plan! City Planning is moving forward with its next phase of work and will be presenting its progress on emerging ideas for Exhibition Place.

Please mark your calendars for Thursday, November 28, 2019 at the Enercare Centre, to learn how the project is advancing and provide your input to this important initiative. Further details will be announced.

Building on the findings of the Cultural Heritage Landscape Assessment of the grounds completed in 2019, the Exhibition Place Master Plan will include directions for public realm enhancements, parks and open spaces, transportation upgrades, built form, heritage conservation, and connectivity to the surrounding neighbourhoods.

New living wall at Enercare Centre
Now you can add another great spot to your Exhibition place tour list! The new living wall installation located at the southside of the Enercare Centre, Hall D is cheery, bright, and colorful. With approximately 400 square-feet of green living space, this massive wall is hard to miss. "For the project to work, we needed to build a team. Various departments in our organization played vital roles in getting our site ready for the installation. This project was a great Exhibition Place team effort" said Craig Shepherd, Facility Services Manager, Exhibition Place.
New look for Event License Agreements
As part of our integration with the Ungerboeck platform, your license agreement for events at Exhibition Place now has a fresh new look. Aside from the more user-friendly look, everything else remains quite similar. All our terms and conditions have remained the same. This change allows Exhibition Place to continue to meet and exceed industry standards as we work towards making greater efficiencies for all our clients.
Audiovisual Rental Items Update
Technology is moving faster than ever, so are the audiovisual industry leaders. They're utilizing the most advanced equipment to better support the demands, and Exhibition Place can not keep pairing to this fast-paced ecosystem. For this reason, starting on January 1, 2020, Exhibition Place will no longer offer sound systems, microphones, or any other audiovisual gear rentals on the price list. We encourage our clients to work directly with their audiovisual partners that will better fulfill their requests.
