Exhibition Place – The Gathering Place of Toronto!

TORONTO February 19, 2019 – Today we are launching a new video about Exhibition Place. The 1:30 minute long video is a tribute to the unique and chameleon-like nature of the grounds. From event to event and venue to venue, the grounds can take on a whole new life. And if we’re being honest, this video makes us a little teary eyed in the best way possible. We love looking back at all of the events that have taken place over the years. But looking ahead at what’s to come is just as exciting!

Did you know that more than 300 events take place here every year? We are Canada’s largest entertainment and convention site, after all.

Exhibition Place means something different to everyone who visits the grounds. Whether it’s your favourite event at the Enercare Centre; a meeting at Beanfield Centre; a concert in Bandshell Park or at Coca-Cola Coliseum; a soccer game at BMO Field; a wedding at Liberty Grand; the CNE–an end of summer annual tradition, and so much more, Exhibition Place holds a special place in the hearts of all of our more than 5.5 million guests who spend time with us every year.

The grounds has been a longstanding feature in the City of Toronto, even before we called it Toronto. From early trading posts in 1750 and the founding of the Toronto Industrial Exhibition in 1879 to the quick expansion of the grounds over the last 100 years, Exhibition Place has always been a place to learn something new, connect with the community, that breeds invention and innovation and that’s pretty exciting if you ask us.
